What materials do you use?
Primarily high-quality 3D printing materials including PLA, PETG, ASA, and TPU. Material selection depends on the product — a webcam cover needs different properties than a server rack label. We'll recommend the best material for your use case in the quote.
What's the minimum order quantity?
There's no hard minimum. We handle everything from single prototypes to runs of thousands. However, per-unit pricing improves significantly at 25+ units due to production efficiency. Pilot runs (5-10 units) are common for validating fit before larger orders.
Can I provide my own design files?
Absolutely. We accept STL files, STEP files, MakerWorld links, or even rough concepts. Your files remain your intellectual property. We can also modify existing designs or create new ones from scratch based on your requirements.
How long does production take?
Typical timelines:
- Prototype/pilot: 5-10 business days
- Small runs (10-50 units): 1-2 weeks
- Larger runs (100+ units): 2-4 weeks
- Rush orders: Available with expedite fee

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship within the US and internationally. Multi-location distribution (e.g., kits to three offices) is a core capability — include delivery details in your quote request.
Can you add our company logo or branding?
Yes. We can embed logos, text, and branding directly into the 3D-printed product (embossed or debossed), or provide color-matched production. Provide vector files (SVG, AI) or high-res PNGs for best results.
What's the difference between CISOGear and TabletopSec?
CISOGear is the custom production brand for all cybersecurity gear — device accessories, team kits, conference drops, and any custom request. TabletopSec is our specialized product line for tabletop exercise kits (dice, tokens, scenario cards). TabletopSec products are available through CISOGear.
What about SecurityByDesign.Shop?
SecurityByDesign.Shop is our print-on-demand storefront for ready-to-buy cybersecurity apparel, mugs, and accessories. No custom quoting needed — just browse and order. CISOGear handles custom production; SecurityByDesign handles retail.
